Sent with a Story

Matthew 28:19 (ESV) – “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…”

Every believer carries a powerful story—one that began in the heart of God and was fulfilled in Jesus. It is a story of rescue, grace, and new life. And Jesus calls us to share it.

Before Jesus returned to heaven, He gave a clear command: “Go.” Go where? Anywhere people need to hear about Him. It could be across the world or across the street. Making disciples starts when we open our mouths and tell others what Jesus has done.

This command can feel overwhelming, especially when we doubt ourselves. But Jesus didn’t send us out alone. He said, “I am with you always.” His presence gives us courage when we feel afraid and strength when we feel weak.

You don’t need to be a Bible expert. You just need to be faithful. Your story—how Jesus saved you, changed you, and walks with you—can lead someone else to hope.
When was the last time you told someone about Jesus? Is there a friend, coworker, or neighbour who needs to hear what He’s done in your life? God has already placed people around you for a reason. Don’t keep the story to yourself.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for giving me a story worth sharing. Help me not to stay silent. Give me boldness to speak, wisdom to know when, and love to guide my words. Remind me that You are always with me. Let my life point others to You. In Your name, Amen.
